RUNNING SHOE FITTING SERVICE

Bring your current shoes!

Firstly we say can you bring in your current running shoes so that we can see what type of shoe you are using and look at the wear on the shoe.

Ask the right questions!

At The Lincolnshire Runner we will help you pick the trainers that is suited to your running needs and comfort. We start by looking at your current running shoes, ask you about your training and go through any injuries that you might have. Of course, everybody is different. By asking the correct questions, and gathering the appropriate information from customers, we will be able to find out what has or has not worked for you, what requirements you need, and what exactly it is you need your running shoes for.

Treadmill [running gait]

After that we will watch you running on our treadmill in a neutral shoe and see what your running gait is doing, which with the information about your injuries, will help us decide what type of shoes may suit you best. Not everybody has the experience to run natural and comfortably on a treadmill. In fact, most runners will alter their running style from a treadmill to pavement, so we often encourage customers to have a short run/stride outside if the pavement is dry.
